What Is Risen?

The crucifix has become a Christian symbol of Faith.  It represents the suffering and sacrifice Jesus made on the cross, the single greatest act of love known to mankind.  We love what the cross represents, but there is another crucial element to the story: The resurrection of Christ!

The Risen emblem is designed to remind all people that there is a Savior. He is alive. He lives, and He is the only one who can relieve all pain, sorrow, and affliction.  The image of Risen is of a savior ready to provide an embrace, a hug, an invitation to draw close to him. His arms are eternally outstretched, waiting for us to come to Him.  This image is a reminder that He not only died for us, but He was resurrected, and because of that event, all mankind has eternal life.

What you wear makes a personal statement.  It is an outward expression of who you are and what you believe.  A constant reminder that because of Him, this life is not the end. He is not dead, He is RISEN.

Come unto me

all ye that labour and are heavy laden

The cross has been the symbol of Christianity for centuries. It represents the suffering and sacrifice Jesus made on the cross, the greatest act of love known to mankind. We love what the cross represents, but there is another crucial element to the story: Jesus’s resurrection!  Three days after his death, the resurrected Jesus emerged to testify to the world that He is not dead, He is RISEN.

Our idea of a new symbol representing Jesus Christ comes from the Christus Statue in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Denmark’s Church of Our Lady.  This depiction of Christ with his head lowered and his arms outstretched is such an important message in a world filled with chaos, confusion, and despair. Inscribed at the base of the statue reads, “Kommer til mig,” which interpreted means, “Come unto me” (Matt 11:28). The full passage (28-30) continues:

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are
And I will give rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;
For I am meek, and lowly in heart, and
Ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light

What You Wear on the Outside is a Reflection of What You Believe on the Inside

As the crucifix reminds us of His death and sacrifice, the image of Him emerging from the tomb is a reminder of hope and victory over death. Risen is your personal statement to the world, that through the resurrection of Jesus, life doesn’t end at the grave, but is just the start of a new beginning.

Our emblem is meant to be a compliment to the cross.

While the cross represents the greatest act of love known to mankind, our emblem symbolizes His resurrection and the fact that we can be with him again.

Has worked fantastically for months. Looks great and allows me to represent Christ in my daily life.

This necklace is amazing! I recently returned home from my mission and was wondering how I could better share the light of Christ and this necklace is basically the perfect way to bring Him everywhere! It helps me have great conversations with people about who I believe in!
